Strong resemblance to a Marine Ka-Bar knife.
When I opened the box, this knife brought back memories of my old Marine Ka-Bar — same kind of no-nonsense look and solid build. The blade is made from DC53 steel, which I hadn’t used before, but it showed up razor sharp and has held that edge through a couple of weekends of campsite use.
The knife is full tang, and you can feel it. There’s no wobble, no flex — just one solid piece from tip to butt. The handle scales are G10 — grippy without being too aggressive — and they’re flush with the tang, with no hot spots after extended use. The spine of the blade is squared off well enough to strike a ferro rod.

This is an excellent knife. I chose the black one. It's very well balanced and the handle is the perfect size for me.It was sharp right out of the box! It also sharpened quickly afterwards and is good for most uses.
I was looking for an all-purpose survival knife, and when I received this, I knew it was the perfect knife for me.
